Since October 2024, I am a postdoctoral researcher at École Normale Supérieure, and a visitor at IRIF.
I completed my PhD at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in France under the supervision of Alain Passelègue and Gilles Villard. I got my master's degree in computer science from the same university, and completed my bachelore's in computer science at Sharif University of Technology in Iran. What do I do?! In my PhD, I mainly worked on constrained pseudorandom functions (CPRFs) and their connections to secure computation. Essentially, we showed how to build CPRFs from homomorphic secret sharing and how they can be used to generate correlated (pseudo-)randomness. I’ve also worked on vector commitments and equivocable encryption. These were all really fun projects. During my postdoc, I’ve continued exploring related topics, like this PCF from sparse-LPN, which we then use to build threshold signatures. I have also built exciting post-quantum CPRFs and PCFs: A surprisingly fast one from lattices and a highly compressed one from isogenies. I also have a more theoretical result, like studying the existence of one-way functions.
I actively try to promote events dedicated to recognizing and empowering women in computer science and mathematics. I am happy to collaborate on organizing such events.
